Some legends you read about. The Mothman was seen.
Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the winter of 1966. They say a seven-foot shape rose off the old TNT works on wings it never flapped, two red eyes burning back at the headlights. For thirteen months it glided the back roads ahead of every bad thing coming, and when the Silver Bridge went down in '67 the sightings stopped cold. Omen, guardian, or something with no name in our language. Nobody ever decided, and that is the point.
This is the harbinger drawn in full, wings spread, eyes lit, for the kind of person who would rather wear the question than the answer. Quiet from across the room, heavier the closer you look.
